Symfony 2.3 achieves 100% HHVM compatibility

During these first half of 2015, HHVM and PHP 7 (Beta 7.0.0 now available) have engaged in a battle to become the fastest PHP engine available.

Symfony is a very popular set of components and a framework. It is widely used and will stay around for a long time to come.

For both HHVM and Symfony it's a big deal that the current LTS version of Symfony, 2.3 is now 100% HHVM compatible:

The hard work made by the Symfony Community always put us at more than 99% HHVM compatibility according to their project compatibility charts. The last needed push to achieve the 100% milestone for Symfony 2.3 was led by Nicolas Grekas in the PR 15,146
