PHP 7.0.0 Beta 1 released

PHP 7 is an excellent example of shipping sofware in time. While some projects like Drupal 8 drag on for years, promising a new version to be launched...

The core PHP team has set a launch time and seem to be delivering. The final version is due in November, but it's already reached Beta 1 stage. Impressive feat. Also the performance battle with HHVM is serving doing the whole PHP ecosystem good.
